Read this once and it will save you money. People who steal from shopkeepers use the name of any company the shopkeeper trusts. This page tells you exactly how we contact you, so that anything else is easy to spot.
1. Five things Patrata will never do
- We will never ask for an OTP. Not ours, not your bank’s, not anyone’s. If someone asks you to read out a code from an SMS, they are stealing from you. There is no exception and no situation where we need it.
- We will never ask you to install a screen-sharing or remote-help app — AnyDesk, TeamViewer, QuickSupport or anything like them. This is the single most common way shopkeepers in India lose money. We will never ask, for any reason, including “to fix your app”.
- We will never ask for your UPI PIN, card number, CVV, or bank password. We do not need them and we cannot use them.
- We will never ask you to pay into a personal account. Payment is only ever to CredSetu Technologies Private Limited, and you always get a receipt showing the full price and what you have paid.
- We will never offer you a loan. Patrata is not a lender, does not arrange loans, and does not introduce anyone to a lender. Anyone offering you a loan in Patrata’s name is not us.
2. How we actually contact you
| Phone and WhatsApp | +91 79959 53111 — this is our only number |
| info@credsetu.in — this is our only address | |
| Website | credsetu.in — anything else is not us |
| In person | Harsh Sakharam Khot, Director. If someone says they represent Patrata and you do not know them, call the number above and ask before you give them anything. |
3. A warning about the app name
Do not search an app store for “Patrata”. Other, unrelated applications use that name and they are nothing to do with us. We give you the install link directly. If you did not get the link from us, do not install it.
4. If someone contacts you claiming to be us
- Stop. Do not share anything and do not install anything.
- Hang up and call +91 79959 53111 yourself. Do not call a number they gave you, and do not press a number to be transferred.
- Tell us. Even if you lost nothing. We would rather warn every other merchant the same day.
- If you have already lost money, call the national cyber-fraud helpline 1930 immediately and report it at cybercrime.gov.in. The first hours matter more than anything else — money can sometimes be stopped if you are fast.
5. What we owe you
If someone uses our name to defraud you, that is our problem too. Tell us and we will confirm in writing whether the contact was genuinely from us, warn every other merchant, and help you make a police complaint. We will not hide it to protect our own name.
Report to info@credsetu.in or +91 79959 53111.
